Safe, clean water you can trust

Dougra Services provides professional water-tank cleaning and disinfection for villas, apartment buildings, schools, clinics, hotels, and commercial facilities across the Eastern Province. We remove sludge, algae, and biofilm, then disinfect with food-grade chemistry so your water stays clear, odor-free, and safe for everyday use.

When this service is needed

Discoloration, sediment in taps, unusual odor/taste, recent maintenance works, or long storage periods are all signs your tank requires a hygienic clean and disinfection.

We service all common tank types

GRP/FRP and polyethylene tanks, concrete or steel tanks, rooftop and underground tanks, and booster/feeder tanks within domestic water systems.

Our method (what we actually do)

  • Assess & isolate – brief site survey, isolate supply, place safety signage, and agree on downtime.

  • Drain – remove stored water with a submersible pump and safely dispose of residue.

  • Mechanical cleaning – remove sludge/scale; scrub internal walls and floor; high-pressure rinse.

  • Rinse to waste – continue until water runs clear and surfaces are free of debris.

  • Food-grade disinfection – apply approved disinfectant (e.g., sodium hypochlorite at the correct ppm) with the required contact time.

  • Final rinse & re-commission – flush to safe residual chlorine, refill, and flush downstream lines.

  • Verification & handover – record chlorine/pH readings, re-open supply, and provide a service report with photos. Optional laboratory water testing is available.

What you receive

Preparation & aftercare

Before we arrive
Ensure access to the tank area, electrical power for our equipment, and notify occupants of temporary downtime.

After completion
You may notice a light chlorine smell during the first flush—this is normal. Run taps for several minutes until the smell dissipates. We’ll advise if any additional steps are required.

How often should you disinfect?
Most sites benefit from every 6–12 months, or sooner after visible contamination, tank repairs, or seasonal peaks. We’ll recommend a schedule that fits your usage and local conditions.

Have your any question look here now

Yes. We use food-grade, potable-water–approved chemistry at the correct concentration and contact time. We then flush the system to a safe residual chlorine level before handover.

Typical downtime is 3–6 hours for a standard residential or small commercial tank. Larger/complex systems may require more time. We can schedule during off-peak hours.

Absolutely. You receive a service report (with photos where possible), details of the chemicals used, readings taken, and a completion sticker. Optional laboratory testing can be arranged.

Most properties choose every 6–12 months, but high-use sites, warm climates, or quality issues may need more frequent service. We’ll advise during the site survey.
